The cell phone. it's everything you need at your finger tips: information, communication, inspiration, etc. Artists use this as a tool to get their work out to the vast abyss of the internet, but it also acts as a successful distraction. Going through my old sketchbook I had a shattering realization; ever since I had gotten a smart phone. I have been paying more attention to my phone rather than my analogue creative outlets. I took this as an opportunity to delve into my imagination, and bring those old sketches to life with hand made toys, who act as an extension of my inner dialogue with my duality with technology. Using 3d printing, silicon molds, plastic casting, and hand painting, I was able to make theses creations come to life.
