Water is the bringer of life. As the world warms up, the supply dwindles. Water is precious. We should adorn her. We should honor her before there is nothing left but memories. 

Influenced by conservation and mourning jewelry, I took natural patterns found in topographical maps of the great lakes to create a small line of wearable objects that play with their original organic shape. Using a combination of new technology and traditional fabrication, I took these patterns and proceed to replicate, dissect, rearrange, and alter them so that the shapes become a revitalized form. These objects are made of silver, lace agate, oak, steel, brass, and powder coat. There’s something more to these inert shapes that provide them with their mystery and preciousness; as our fresh water is just as precious as the jewelry we adorn. This line of jewelry brings those feelings of curiosity to the wearer as their shapes entice independent thought about the importance of our natural world.
